MavCoat Polyurea is the coating our team reaches for when the floor takes hits — a rapid-cure polyurea with exceptional impact and abrasion resistance that cures into a flexible, chemically resistant membrane. That flexibility is the point: where rigid coatings crack under movement and impact, polyurea absorbs it, which is why it anchors secondary containment areas, traffic coatings, and high-abuse industrial environments. Cure speed means turnaround in hours, not days — downtime stays short. Like every Maverick coating, it ships clear by default — add the MavTints pigment of your choice at mix time, or order it factory-pigmented in any of our 15 stock colors when you want it ready to roll out of the box. Surface prep is non-negotiable: mechanically profile the concrete and repair spalls and cracks first (MavPolyPatch for cracks and divots, MavRapidPatch for fast-turnaround repairs). One spec note pros know: if a trowel-applied mortar body like MavClad EM or MavCrete UM goes over this membrane later, the polyurea must receive a full aggregate broadcast to rejection for bond profile — elastomerics don’t bond mortars without it. Pair it with MavJoint JF at control joints and a MavSeal topcoat where UV-stable gloss retention matters.
