Maverick’s 90-Grit Aluminum Oxide Texture Additive is the anti-slip aggregate our crews put in the wear surface when traction is part of the spec: ramps, washdown areas, entries, loading docks, and any floor that sees water, oil, or hustle. Aluminum oxide is the hard answer — far harder than sand, it keeps its bite under traffic instead of polishing smooth, and the 90-grit sizing adds aggressive, even texture without turning the floor into a cheese grater that fights the mop. Use it the way the system calls for: broadcast it into the wet topcoat for the most uniform profile, or stir it into the mixed material and roll it on. Dose to the slip resistance the area actually needs — heavier in wet and sloped zones, lighter where carts and squeegees rule — and sample a test patch before committing the whole floor. It runs in MavCoat and MavSeal topcoats across the line. The 24-lb bag covers real production work, not a single doorway.
