MavTints is the one tinting system that runs across the entire Maverick line — compatible with all MavCoat, MavSeal, and MavCrete products, so the color you dial in on the basecoat is the same color you carry through the topcoat. It’s also the heart of how Maverick sells color: every MavCoat and MavSeal coating ships clear by default, and you add the MavTints color of your choice at mix time — buy clear and tint, or order the coating factory-pigmented in stock colors when you’d rather skip the step. Each tint is sold individually by color in all 15 Maverick stock colors — the same range on the Maverick Color Chart, from Haze Gray to the full safety-color lineup — letting you pigment clear material on demand instead of stocking pre-pigmented inventory for every job. That matters when a project calls for a specific standard color, or when you need every coat in a multi-coat system to read as one floor. Field rule: tint the coating, never skip the prep — pigmented or clear, every Maverick coating goes down over a mechanically prepared substrate. Crews typically pair MavTints with clear MavCoat SLE or MavSeal UPA, tinting at mix time per the TDS load rates — 1 pint per gallon for HWU and ESD, 1 pint per 2 gallons of polyaspartic, 1 pint per 1.5 gallons of polyurea neutral, and 1 pint per 1-, 1.5-, or 3-gallon epoxy unit.
