This premium metallic epoxy carries suspended metallic pigments that flow and self-pattern during application, producing depth and three-dimensional movement no two installers — and no two floors — ever repeat. Underneath the effect is a real industrial epoxy: the durability to handle showrooms, retail floors, restaurants, lobbies, offices, and serious garage builds without babying it. Like every Maverick coating, Metallic ships clear by default — add the MavTints pigment of your choice, or order it factory-pigmented in any of our 15 stock colors. The visual depends on the canvas, so prep like a pro: grind the concrete to a clean mechanical profile and prime with MavPrime EP — a uniform, well-bonded base is what lets the metallic effect read evenly across the slab. Because epoxies amber under UV, crews protect the finish with a clear UV-stable topcoat; MavSeal UPA is the standard pairing for clarity, gloss retention, and chemical resistance over metallic work. Patch and level defects with MavPatch Epoxy before priming — every divot telegraphs through a decorative pour. Metallic depth takes a heavy pour: per the TDS, coverage runs 20–50 sq ft per gallon at 32–80 wet mils, so size kits accordingly. Each kit packs 2 gallons of base and 1 gallon of activator.
